HISTORY
Partizan Football Club was founded on 4th of october 1945 as a part of Partizan Yugoslav Sports Association. Nowadays, "Partizan family" has 25 clubs in as many sports. Althought, still a member of Partizan Sports Association, Partizan Football Club has complete independence regarding organisation, management, finances, material goods and facilities. Also, there are several companies founded by Partizan FC, working in various fields, as part of Partizan business system.
Partizan Football Club won Yugoslav national championship 22 times: 1947, 1949, 1961, 1962, 1963, 1965, 1976, 1978, 1983, 1986, 1987, 1993, 1994, 1996, 1997, 1999, 2002, 2003, 2005, 2008, 2009, 2010. Yugoslav national cup was won 11 times: 1947, 1952, 1954, 1957, 1989, 1992, 1994, 1998, 2001, 2008, 2009.
Partizan FC was 1966 European Champions Cup runner-up and winner of a Middle-European Cup in 1978.
Record holder by number of appearances is Momcilo Vukotic, legendary Partizan forward, who lead Partizan FC attacks in 791 games, and another legend, Stjepan Bobek, leads the goalscoring table of all times with 425 goals.
In Partizan`s rich history, 130 players made apperarances for Yugoslav national team, while nine of them had over 50 matches for the "blues"- Bobek, Zebec, Cajkovski, Jusufi, Galic, Soskic, Jokanovic, Mijatovic and Milosevic.
Partizan "football style" is respected by many around the world- from spectators, to football players, managers and various football legends, and therefore, "Black and Whites" are honorable guests wherever they appear, being it a neighbooring football ground or a South America`s stadiums.
Design of Partizan game is readiness for surpassing, based on individual qualities, team`s harmony and mastership eluding any trap or strentgh, which gives Partizan School of Football advantage and efficiency.Throughout the history, Partizan won 6 league matches scoring 10 or more goals, and in two national championships scored over 100 goals, holding a record of 111 goals scored in one season.
