PLAYERS THANKFULL FOR A DAY-OFF

Day-off had a huge positive effect on Partizan players, which was visible on today`s training, where everyone looked fresher and rested compared to past few days. Gloria Hotel pitches are based within the sports centre, located couple of kilometres away from the resort and the one that reminds as a lot on our own Zemunelo Sports Centre, although a smaller one. While our senior squad practiced, on the near-by ground we saw Russian side Tom Tomsk also training. Our boys played a football game with an addition of so-called “jokers” –players standing on the edge of the pitch allowed only one contact with a ball, as an assist only.

Partizan plays a friendly versus Hiroshima tomorrow at 16.00h CET, at the Gloria Hotel football grounds. Hiroshima, a club founded in 1938, won J-League on five ocassions. It an interesting to mention thier coach is ex-Rad and Crvena Zvezda player, Mihajlo Petrovic. Hiroshima plays home game at 50.000 capacity Big Arch stadium and their greatest success, besides league titles, was appearance in Asian CL last season, after more than four decades of exodus.
