Partizan won Novi Pazar away after a seven-goal thriller and late winner from Stefan Kovac who scored a brace alongside Ibrahim Zubairu. We spoke to Kovac after the game.
“It was a very hard and uncomfortable away game. We were aware of it and tried to control the match from the go. But, we conceded two goals in the first half from a semi counter-attacks”, said 25-year-old midfielder.
Boss Milosevic said after the game how you won this game purely based on your character.
“I also think we won it on character and we showed we are Partizan! Even when the things don`t go our way, a today when we were 2-0 down, we will always try to comeback and turn the result in our favor. I know we caused stress to our fans but we really showed desire and fighting spirit and that`s what matters now, along with three points won. We didn`t give up nor we ever will!”.

“As for the goals scored, I`m fond of all of them in their own right but I think the goal I scored against Mladost was a real beauty and it stands out among those I scored for Partizan so far. Those two I scored today, I dedicate to my father who celebrated his birthday yesterday. I would also like to thank my teammates as I would not be able to score without them”.

“Of course packed stands would mean a lot to us! Now we have a perfect opportunity to push our Steamroller forward, to pick up as team and as a club. There`s no point in saying how much applause, noise and any positive word from the stands means to us. I think it would be a great boost to us, with die-hards behind our backs we would play even better”, said Stefan Kovac.
