The guest of "Partizan's Interview" was first-team player Ognjen Ugrešić, who recently scored his first official goal wearing the Partizan jersey. He didn’t hide his excitement after netting his debut goal for the team with the colors closest to his heart, and he shared how it all looked from his perspective:
“Since I was eight years old, I’ve been waiting and imagining that moment — scoring a goal for Partizan’s first team — and my dream came true. I asked for the ball and just shot it, and after that, an indescribable feeling hit me. I always imagined I’d run toward the South Stand, but after the goal my pulse and emotions were at 200, and the first thing that came to mind was to run to my family. Next time, I promise, I’ll run toward the South Stand!”
He revealed how much working with head coach Srđan Blagojević means to him and the other young players:
“Srđan Blagojević is a modern coach, and that suits us younger players really well. We’re all happy with how we’re progressing day by day. I’m sure we’ll keep improving as long as we’re with him.”
Finally, he shared his goals while wearing the black-and-white shirt:
“My wish is to stay in Partizan as long as possible, to win the league or the cup, and to go as far as we can in Europe next season. I hope that we, the young players who grew up in Partizan, can achieve something people will talk about one day the same way they talk about 2017 today.”
